Svsrv is a go script that takes a mkv video file, uses ffmpeg to extract and convert the subtitle track to vtt format and starts a web server serving both.

This is useful for machines that dont have access to a decent video player but have access google chrome(firefox currently will not play video files contained in mkv files). I found this useful for getting decent 1080p playback on my old arm chrome book.

Usage: go run main.go path/to/my/mkv/file

Caveates: The script does not allow for specifying the subtitle track to use.
